The Driving the Electric Revolution Industrialisation Centre (DER-IC) North East has installed the UK's first micro-punch sinter press for manufacturing high-reliability high-power modules: The AMX X-Sinter P101 sinter.
England-UK April 2022: Green transaction is worldwide accelerating and involves e-vehicle, public transports, grid technology, and many other sectors creating an increasing demand for high voltages at high frequencies power modules. Increase power density require the use of modern materials (including the transaction from Si standard Chips to SiC or GaN). Silver (Ag) and also Copper (Cu) pressure sintering is the new reliable joining technology in power electronics.Ag or Cu pressure sintering show outstanding results in comparison with soldering or other standard methods.
